Wrote the below teaser way back in November and turns out we were at least partially correct! The Steelers playoff hopes depend on a win in Baltimore and a bit of help on Sunday. TJ Watt could still break the single single sack record, but it would take one helluva day to get there. Kenny will have to wait until next season though to reach double digit touchdowns.
The 2023 season wraps up January 7 with a trip to Baltimore to face off againest the Ravens. Perhaps there will be a playoff spot on the line? Maybe TJ Watt will be going for the single season NFL sack record. If the stars align, Kenny Pickett could even be trying to reach double digit touchdowns for the season! However the it shakes out, we hope you'll join Yinz in Boston at Tavern in the Square (Allston) for the game.
We will be in the main bar room for this week's game. We do not have reserved space, but we will have full sound. Seating will be first come / first serve, but we don't expect a huge non-Steelers crowd as there are no other games of note (in any sport) that conflict.
This is not a ticketed event and is free to yinzers of all ages. However, please RSVP if you plan on joining us at Tavern in the Square.
We rely on RSVPs to give the bar a sense of how many of yinz will be showing up so that they can staff accordingly and give us plenty of space to wave towels like lunatics for a few hours.
